Community Relations
1-2 hrs. per week; help represent YMO in the community; duties to include filing press releases, calling community leaders, booking concerts, etc.
Church Relations
1-2 hrs. per week; develop relations with local churches to communicate the mission opportunity for students; phone calls, mailings, possible meetings, follow-up
School Relations
1-2 hrs. per week; make phone calls to local schools about YMO; set up assemblies and clinics; develop relationships with band directors for year round and summer programs
Homeschool Relations
1 hr. per week; contacting homeschool organizations about YMO; making people aware of YMO and developing relationships in the homeschool community
Newsletter
1 hr. per week; organize and write monthly e-mail newsletter
Instrument Donation Coordinator
1hr. per week; work to help get instruments donated for YMO; could include working with local radio stations and newspapers to help get the word out that YMO needs instruments; help coordinate instruments with students
Sponsorship Coordinator
1-3 hrs. per week; solicit corporate sponsorships and donations for fundraisers
Grant Writer
1-3 hrs. per week; research and write grant proposals for funding from grants and foundations
