Designed for the advanced high school jazz musician, our Jazz Band offers a unique ministry opportunity.  Students in Jazz Band create a wide repertoire of music, ranging in style and genre, which is used to minister in several concerts throughout the semester.  Concerts will include several retirement homes, community events, and other activities in the La Mirada area.  (Most concerts take place during the regular Jazz Band rehearsal time, however, some additional concerts times will be required.)

Requirements

· -All new members must audition prior to admittance

· -Students are expected to practice the amount of time needed to play all parts correctly

-Students must attend and participate in all fundraisers and concerts
