Designed for the student with one to three years experience, Intermediate Band students will continue building their musical foundation through music that requires students to develop listening ears. Students will begin to learn the subtleties of music, including independence of parts, dynamics, phrases, articulations, pitch and tone, in an encouraging atmosphere where they will learn to make music for the Lord while being challenged to grow and improve. Students must audition prior to admittance. |

Requirements
· -All students must have their own instrument. · -New students must audition for Intermediate Band. · -Each student should practice at least five days a week, thirty minutes a day. · -Students should take weekly private lessons. (A list of suggested private instructors will be provided on first day of rehearsal.) -Students are expected to participate in all rehearsals, concerts and fundraisers. |
