About the Director

For the past ten years, conductor, Christele Rondeau, has shared her passion for the Lord and music with students from around the world. In 1998 Christele Rondeau graduated cum laude from Biola University in La Mirada, CA with a BM in music performance.  While attending Biola University, Christele served on the music board as Treasurer, President, and then became the student conductor. Christele also received many honors including the director's award, and outstanding winds player.  Over the past 9 years Christele has brought her passion for the Lord and music alive to audiences around the world.  Upon graduation, Christele was asked to begin Biola Youth Instrumental Music, a program offered for youth in Southern California.  While working for BYIM, she conducted numerous concerts all over Southern California, including marine bases, retirement homes, homeless shelters, and the San Diego Children's Convalescent Hospital.  Christele also organized and conducted six consecutive music camps on the Biola campus.  As a professional flautist, Christele has performed in a wide variety of freelance performances throughout California, and has formed a musical group, Zontas, which travels to France each year to share God's love through music.  Christele has also been guest conductor, musician, speaker and clinician at various locations throughout Southern California, including the ACSI Convention.  In 2006, she founded Youth Music Outreach, with a goal to expand the global focus for students to use the talents that God has given them to reach the world for Christ.
